Monty is now down to 40kgs from 62 kgs and has lost a total of 24 inches all over! He's now enjoying chasing a ball and swimming.
Just to let you know that Monty is now down to 51 kgs, so he is doing really well and starting to do things that he hasn't been able to do for a while. So far, we've got over £200 pledged, and hopefully more to come !

This is the gorgeous Monty. He is 8 years old and came to us from a sad situation, weighing in at his heaviest, 67 kgs, with a 44 inch chest! He weighed 62 kgs at the age of 2 years, resulting in him suffering with bad arthritis and a patella operation in 2005 due to his excessive weight. Monty is now residing at an exclusive Health Farm…………one of our lovely foster homes to be precise, until he has shed his excess weight and can lead the life a Labrador needs and likes to live. He is enjoying lots of small walks per day and is getting fitter by the minute and revealing his true nature. He loves his foster carer’s grandchildren, delighting now in stealing their toys and not giving them back! He is beginning to try and play and turning out to be quite a character.
