This fab boy is looking for a home due to a change in his family’s circumstances. He is a very much loved member of the family.
As you can see he is a lab cross, the vet thinks probably Lab x Pointer I think maybe Lab x Vizla. He is 4 at the end of the year. He is very loving, very active and loves attention, he equally loves to snooze on the sofa, preferably with someone to cuddle.
He is great indoors, but left unattended with food, he will chance his luck, that must be the Lab! The un Lab trait is he doesn’t enjoy walking in the rain and only likes to paddle! He does have a high prey drive and is easily distracted. If he finds a good scent to follow, he will, and any recall goes out of the window! He is very clever and keen to learn so training around this and recall would be needed. He can be very strong on the lead.
We are looking for an experienced home, with someone around during the day, any children in the home should be older 12 plus, NO cats. He would also struggle if he has to go to a kennel for holiday boarding.
He absolutely loves other dogs, he likes to say hello to each and every one when out on a walk! He would however be happy being the only dog in the home so he can get all the attention! We would possibly consider another dog in the home but it must be up for boisterous play, so younger than him.
