Black with some white markings
Brandy is now rehomed.
Brandy is an 11 month Labrador x springer. She is a small dog, still rather underweight from previous poor treatment. She is black with a white patch on her chest and slight white markings on her toes. The current owner has been getting her back on track developmentally and she is a friendly, lively and responsive dog. Used to children from birth to teenage and she now lives with another dog. She has lived with a dog-friendly cat.
She is very easily handled, a little bit strong on the lead but should be responsive to training as she will listen to you and she likes treats! She is house trained, knows the basic commands and has been exercised off-lead.
Like most young dogs, Brandy can be tempted by an ‘available’ snack so the new owner would have to be dog-aware until she understands what is hers.
Ideal home would be one where someone is around most of the day and who is aware of the advantages and pitfalls of owning a young active dog and has both the skill and time to devote to her further training and development. Her new home could be a family with children who are mature enough to help with training and care. Equally her new home could be more mature with time and experience to offer to this welcoming young dog. She would not suit a busy home where she is left alone on a regular basis.
She is just finishing her first season. In due course we would want her new owner to get her spayed but a fixed grant towards the cost of this can be made.
Preference will be given to homes in Kent
