yes, primary and above. Harley has lived with 7 year old.
Harley is a bright young chap, keen to please, castrated and 1 ½ years old. As you might expect he is a bit boisterous and eager to play. However, when assessed, I found that he quietened down fairly quickly and was able to sit on command/signal and would come. Harley is food orientated so will be easy to train judging by the limited time I had with him. Once excited with some playing with a rope toy he was able to calm down and he likes to have a fuss and show affection.
He is a young fit dog and will need ongoing training and regular exercising. He will need a secure garden as he is well able to jump. For Harley the training will be important to keep him on his toes and busy so that boredom does not encourage poor behaviour.
Probably not the dog for a household with very young children or without the lifestyle that would enable some daily training and exercise.
He has come into rescue as his present owners have a changed work commitment and he has to be left at home for long periods when he gets into trouble.
He will give the right home a very rewarding dog.
Preference will be given to homes in Kent.
We are happy to talk to prospective owners to help ensure he gets the right home.
