This gorgeous girl is approximately 5 years old and has had a rough life in the past and her current owner has done wonders in turning things around for her. Sadly she feels she is not in a position to give her what she needs going forward.
She has now become over attached to her owner and suffers from separation anxiety as a result. She likes being around other dogs and we feel this is the way forward for her so we are seeking a new home with another calm, confident dog(s) in residence. She has been left at home with other dogs in the past and has been much more relaxed. She has also lived with a cat! She needs someone at home the majority of the time too, someone kind and patient to help her adjust. She is really sweet and very loving once she gets over the first few minutes of timidity. Her current owner who has had Labradors for 30 years describes her as the sweetest, most loving lab she has ever had. She has some old scars on her face and at some point has suffered an injury to her paw, but her current vet feels as they are old injuries and not causing her a problem no treatment is necessary. Whatever has happened to her in her early life has sadly scarred her physically and mentally.
This lovely girl will be such a loving companion for someone willing to continue her rehabilitation and work on her separation anxiety. Another dog or dogs in her new home will we feel play a huge part in this too and make her less reliant on two legged company. She has been fine around visiting children in her current home but as she has not lived with them as far as we know we will only consider teenage plus if there are any in her new home.
If you meet all of the above requirements and feel you have love and patience to devote to this gorgeous girl then register your interest on this page. Please do not apply unless you meet the criteria above. You will only be contacted if you have made our shortlist.
