We are fortunate that we have no paid employees and have always kept all administrative costs to a minimum so we are able to continue to support the many dogs with chronic health problems like Dottie who you may have read about before as she came to the charity as a 14 week old pup having already exhausted her £6000 insurance cover in the diagnosis and treatment of mega-oesophagus.

This is a condition where food collects in the oesophagus instead of passing to the stomach. The owner was advised by their vet to return the pup to the breeder who admitted they would have the pup euthanased and so they turned to the charity, and with the tremendous care and effort of Pat and the support of the charity she is thriving.
