This  gorgeous and lively 10-month-old Labrador is looking for a new forever home through no fault of his own. His current owners have made the difficult decision to rehome him, as they feel they cannot provide the level of stimulation he needs.

He is fully house-trained, and he has attended puppy classes. He knows his basic commands such as sit, down, and wait, and has good recall (around 80% to the whistle). With continued training and consistency, he will excel.

Like most Labradors his age, he is full of energy and enthusiasm, with plenty of mouthing and jumping — but there is no malice in him at all. He is very good with toys and food, and his ball is his absolute favourite.

He has not lived with children, so we feel he would be best suited to a child-free home, or one with teenagers who are confident around larger, energetic dogs. He has not been around livestock, but his current owners have no concerns about his behaviour. He gets along very well with other dogs when out and about and has happily settled by his owners’ feet in pubs and cafés, especially when a treat comes his way!

He would thrive in an active home where he can be both mentally and physically stimulated — activities such as gundog training, scent work, or agility would suit him perfectly.

This boy really is a lovely puppy with so much potential and will need a more suitable and experienced home where he can continue to grow into the amazing dog he is destined to be.
