Profile
This beautiful boy has had a very rough start to life. Sadly, he was badly neglected by his original owner, shut away, and starved .A family gave him a second chance, but sadly, he doesn’t get on well living with children , so they have asked LRSEC to help.
He arrived in much better shape, but still underweight and untrained. He is currently staying at an approved kennel in Essex and prospective adopters would be able to visit him there after a successful home check had been completed.
We are looking for a very experienced person with the time and commitment to support him. A secure outside space with high fencing is needed, due to his inquisitive and ambitious tendencies. We prefer not to place him with children, due to his inexperience.
He is a strong dog who can walk well on the lead with a confident handler. He has had virtually no training and will jump up, but if this can be ignored it stops quickly. He barks at anything new but if no reaction is given this also stops.
We feel he would be better suited to be the only dog in his new home.
Any adopter will need to be willing to go right back to basics with him. This training must be ongoing, and he would benefit from continued socialisation with other dogs, too.
He is very affectionate and eager to please. He will thrive in the right environment.
Fully vaccinated , he will need to be neutered after he has settled with his new family the charity will provide a grant toward the cost .
Can you please consider this deserving lad?
