Profile
In a kennel environment he is fine with the female staff, but less so with the male staff there.
He has good recall and knows some commands, but he barks at anything new or different.
He shows food aggression and needs to be fed separately from other dogs and cats.
We feel he will always be unsuitable to live or mix with other dogs and he needs to be exercised away from other dogs.
He could possibly make an excellent companion in a one to one situation, but is always going to lack confidence initially. He would probably do best living with a single person, and any visiting children must be older than 10 years.
He needs a calm environment and appropriate house rules. He does have a ‘hard mouth’, but has never bitten a person.
He will need very patient, consistent handling and his adopter must not expect results quickly.
You will need to meet him at kennels in Essex
