This beautiful 11-year-old black female Labrador is looking for a new forever home through no fault of her own. Sadly, due to her owner’s ill health, we have been asked to help rehome her.
She has a gentle, easy-going nature and would make a wonderful companion. She gets on with other dogs who she meets. She has also lived with a child of 11 years old, so we would be looking for a home with children of a similar age or older. Unfortunately, she is not used to living with cats and would not be suited to a home with them.
At present, she is rather overweight, but with regular walks she is already starting to lose weight. Her new family will need to be committed to continuing with gentle daily exercise and maintaining a healthy routine for her. She will also need someone who is at home during the day, as she thrives on companionship and routine.
Like many dogs, she is frightened of fireworks, so she will need a calm, reassuring environment at those times.
Despite her age, she still has so much love to give. She is affectionate, loyal, and ready to brighten someone’s life with her kind nature.
