    Profile

    APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED

Meet a bright, gentle boy looking for his forever home.

He has lived happily with children but has not lived with cats, so we are looking for a cat-free home for him. He is being rehomed through no fault of his own; his current owner works and, due to demanding shift patterns, can no longer give him the time and attention he deserves.

He is very well trained and knows a wide range of commands, including sit, stay, down, wait, leave, heel, and he has excellent off-lead recall — except when he spots another dog. At these moments, he may bark out of excitement as he wants to play, not due to aggression. Once he meets other dogs, he interacts well, although recalling him during these encounters can be challenging.

He has recently had a professional training session to help manage this excited reactivity and would benefit from continued training and calm socialisation to further improve this behaviour.

He is an intelligent, gentle lad who doesn’t jump up and is relatively small for a male. He responds very well to reward-based training, walks nicely on a slip lead, and is friendly and confident. He’s not fearful but prefers to keep his paws dry and isn’t particularly keen on water.

    Ideal Home:
He would be best suited to a one-dog household, with someone at home for most of the day, who can continue his training and enjoy spending time with him.

He has so much love to give and will make a wonderful companion in the right home.
