Harvey

This lovely 2 year old boy is looking for his new forever home through no fault of his own.  He has had a bad start in life and would benefit from being an only dog, as he doesn’t always get on with other dogs and is nervous of traffic.  He will need time and patience to help him get used to being out and about in a new environment & learn to interact with other dogs. He will need time to build up his confidence and trust with a new owner, preferably in a home with no children.

He has been with a foster home for 6 weeks after coming into rescue following the illness of his previous owner.  He has developed and made much progress in the time he has been with them but now is the time for him to move on to a permanent home where he can continue to mature and grow in a calm, loving and understanding home.  He is used to a rural home and we would try and rehome him to a similar situation.

Although Harvey is not a difficult dog we think it would probably be best if he was placed in a home that has owned Labradors before and where someone is home and available for most of the time.
