This dog has come into rescue because his current home has to leave him home-alone for too long on many days.  He is loved and cared for and has been with his current owner since he was a puppy.

He is an older dog but very friendly and he loves company and a fuss.  He does enjoy a daily walk at his own easy pace and is good on the lead and with good knowledge of the basic commands including a recall.  At his age he would like a quiet life, possibly in a semi rural location where things are a bit of a slower pace.  He wont need a long walk but he will relish sharing a slower walk with plenty of stimulating sniffing to be done.

For his age he is fit and well and is not receiving any current veterinary care.  He is getting a bit stiff on his joints as you should expect at his age and perhaps just a little overweight.  He does not like climbing  stairs so would not suit a home with too many steps to negotiate.

He has lived with a cat at one time in his life, but not at the moment.

Please think about giving this gentle old chap a home to call his own – he has lots to give!
