Beautiful 5 year old chocolate male – castrated, micro-chipped and vaccinated. This gorgeous Lab has no problems, he loves to go for walks to meet other dogs for a game, but when at home, he is happy to relax and just be with you. He has lived with children, but has not lived with cats! He is not destructive, aggressive, dominant or possessive – simply perfect. We are looking for a home with someone around most of the day and a home in a rural or semi-rural location. 9 1/2 year old but looks and acts half his age. Beautiful black, shiny coat and remarkably fit. A gentle giant, well mannered, acts on commands. Has no problems around people but is more interested in playing with his own kind, loves streams and park waste bins. Has lived with children. Vaccinated, microchipped and castrated. Beautiful yellow, stocky boy of 5 years. All he wants is a cuddle and is extremely affectionate. He has epilepsy but is on medication and has not fitted for some time. He has no problems around other dogs. He too acts on commands. He just loves to be fussed. Has lived with children. Vaccinated, microchipped and castrated. Both of these boys are beautifully well behaved/mannered and love going for walks. As they are big boys experienced families only are recommended. Buddy is a big strong handsome boy of 9 years old. He will pull on the lead if given the chance but is good if he has an experienced hand. This is Tigger, he is a 2 year old yellow castrated dog, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Tigger is a big handsome boy who desperately needs someone with good experience of dog ownership to show him the way. He loves walking and rolling in the grass and enjoys a good tummy tickle. Tigger can somtimes be choosy about which other dogs he gets on with but with the right leadership would learn that a dogs life can be full of love and fun. He will require a home with children of 15 years and over and also he does not like cats. Coco is a 8 year old chocolate dog. He is vaccinated and is castrated. He is good with other dogs and would require a home with older children of 12 years and above. Detailed below is a few words from his foster home:-He’s a very gentle lovely boy, not boisterous at all. He is very good off lead but does need a little bit of training on lead, he always come back to recall when off lead. He is not brilliant with cats but in the last two days he has become a little more tolerant so I’m sure with time he will be ok. He has no aggression at all and will freely give you his toys, I’ve taken food and a raw bone off him without issue. He is very good in the car but will not stay in the back but gets on the seat to be with you but once there will lie down so again with a little training he should be fine to stay in the back or the owner may need to get a guard. Coco loves to carry things around, he is very gentle with the soft toys and doesn’t destroy them but much prefers to carry my crocs about!! He is great with other dogs and got on brilliantly at my friends farm with all of the farm dogs and seemed very at home in a group of dogs, he is also good with other animals I’ve tried him with sheep, cattle, horses and chickens without issue.Coco is such a loving boy and loves a big cuddle he is like a teddy bear, he loves to be with you. Coco is very quick to learn and is very eager to please, in two days he has stopped bolting to the door and will now wait at the door way until he is told to go, he has learnt to down and stay when we are eating, and he knows how to use the dog flap (finally with the aid of several treats!!) ~ very clever dog!! Finally Coco never stops wagging his tail, he is such a happy little boy!! He will make someone a great pet. Every day I’m trying him with new things so I can get more info for the new owner such as he doesn’t mind loud bangs, the hoover, not stealing food left out etc etc ... Brook Yellow neutered male, approx 5 years old. Fully vaccinated.
This boy is very nervous of strangers and shows this by lots of barking. Once he is out of his kennel and out in the open he settles well although does take time to get to know new people. He has a good basic understanding of commands. He has had a lot of training in the past and I would imagine he may have been used for gundog work but did not make the grade. He needs an experienced home that has the time to bring back his confidence. A home with no children or other dogs is preferred.

Black Dog 2 ½ years old
A lovely black happy and waggly dog, he is good with children and gets on well with other dogs and has lived with cats. He is looking for a loving home who have plenty of time and energy for this gorgeous happy dog. He is also castrated.
Black 2 year old dog
Another lovely friendly dog, he has had basic training and can be lively and enthusiastic, he is also good with children and other dogs although he can be a little over the top and excitable. He would make a wonderful addition to any family; he is castrated but would not suit a home with cats.
Black 4 year old dog
An all round wonderful family pet, this handsome chap deserves to find his wonderful forever home, he is good with children and other dogs, he is better to be in a home without cats.
Chocolate 5 year old dog
Another wonderful family pet, he did go to puppy training classes and would benefit from further training, he is good with children and large dogs but would not be suitable for a home with small dogs or cats.
Black 4 ½ year old dog, possibly a cross
A very friendly and smallish type Labrador with a loving and kind temperament, his previous owner could no longer look after him and took him to the vet to be put to sleep, poor little chap deserves a loving home.
Chocolate 6 year old dog
This dog is an ideal family pet and loves to be part of everything; he is good with children and other dogs but can be a bit excitable, it is not known what he is like with cats. He is castrated.
Yellow bitch 6 ½ years old
A smallish very pretty family pet, this girl thinks she is about 2, she is very lively and loves long walks and to play ball. She is not spayed and can be a bit dominant with small dogs. She has lived with teenagers but can be a little nervous when first meeting people. Must go to a cat free home.
Black 10 month old dog
A fantastic big boy with the most wonderful temperament, he is quite tall and gangly but is a really gentle dog and not overly boisterous for his age. He is castrated, gets on well with children and other dogs but it is not known what he is like with cats.

Sky is approx 10 years old and is a black Labrador Cross with a Springer Spainel. She has a white chest and also white on her feet. She has not lived with children but has had access to the owners grandchild of 10 years old. She is good with other dogs and also stayed with a cat. Female Labrador This is Charley, she is a beautiful 13 year old yellow bitch and is extremely fit for her age. She is yellow and is spayed. She has lived with children and is good with other dogs. Male Labrador Simba is a 10 year old yellow castrated boy, and is currently in temporary foster in the Colchester area. He is a big cuddly 'teddy bear' of a dog, lovely around the house, very affectionate to all people and children and a great companion. Simba is recovering well from a skin allergy brought on by the stressfull situation he was in before coming into rescue, and should not be left by himself too long at the moment in case he starts nibbling himself again.He is quite protective and dominant towards other dogs, and when out on a lead needs a pretty strong arm to hold him, ifyou feel you could offer him the right sort of home please ring David on 01621 891860
